College football has returned, and there is nothing like a Georgia Bulldogs game day weekend.
I’ve stayed in Athens, GA several times, but nothing makes the game day experience greater than staying in Opulence Vacation Rentals “The Executive Loft.”
It’s located in the heart of downtown Athens and in prime reach of UGA’s Sanford Stadium and several local hotspots.
Set aside time to arrive early and enjoy the pre-game festivities. Getting a good seat before kickoff is important but so is catching some of the traditions like "Dawg Walk," where the team walks through a crowd of fans before entering the stadium.
When the Georgia Bulldog football games take place at UGA’s Sanford Stadium, parking is something you want to plan for.
Be sure to arrive early to find parking. There are several public parking lots and garages, with street parking being an option as well.
Some popular parking areas include the North Campus Parking Deck and the Tate Student Center parking lot.
There are also 2 city owned garages close by located at College Avenue and Washington Street. The first thirty minutes are free in both city garage decks, after which it’s just $1.00/hour.
Street spots are also available on a first come first serve basis.
Staying in Opulence’s Executive Loft ensures that you’ll have an easier time navigating the traffic and parking compared to staying at a standard hotel. You can just walk!
BREAKFAST
